Home locks, done properly.

Rekeys after a move, stronger deadbolts, keypad locks for the kids, or a lockout. We recommend what your door actually needs, not the most expensive box.

Home jobs we handle.

From one sticky back door to rekeying the whole house.

  • Rekeying

New pins, new keys, old keys dead. The cheapest way to secure a house after a move or a lost key. Every door can share one key.

  • Lock changes and replacement

Worn, damaged, or cheap locks swapped for solid hardware that fits your existing door prep.

  • Deadbolt installation

New deadbolts drilled and fitted, with reinforced strike plates screwed into the framing.

  • Keypad and smart locks

Keypad and app-controlled deadbolts installed and set up with you before we leave.

  • High-security locks

Pick- and drill-resistant cylinders with restricted keys that cannot be copied at a hardware store.

  • House lockouts

Opened without damage whenever the lock allows.

  • Patio, storm, and back doors

Sliding door locks, storm door latches, and back door hardware repaired or replaced.

  • Gate and mailbox locks

Gate locks, padlocks, and mailbox locks replaced and keyed to match.

Rekey or replace?

If your locks work smoothly and you only need the old keys to stop working, rekey. We change the pins inside, hand you new keys, and it costs a fraction of new hardware.

Replace when a lock is damaged, worn loose, builder-grade and flimsy, or when you want something stronger like a high-security or keypad deadbolt. We will tell you which you need, even when the answer is the cheaper one.

Can all my doors use one key?

Usually, yes, if the locks share a keyway. If not, we swap the cylinders so they do.

Are smart locks secure?

Good ones are, when installed correctly with a solid strike. We install brands we trust and set them up with you.

How long does rekeying a house take?

A typical house is done in one visit. We quote the time and price on the phone.

Can you install a lock I bought myself?
